I am sure everyone heard about the two dozen reporters that left Harper's latest press conference because he refused to answer their questions... What would you do? I would leave too. Now, all I hear about is him whining about how rough the press is on him.

Well let's step back and have a look at what you have done Harps...

Since attaining the throne, the Tory government has removed cameras from the Parliament, banned press from the arrival ceremonies of fallen soldiers, muzzled MPs, hand picked only "friendly" press representatives to attend press conferences and only allowing questions from "favorable" members of the media.

Do you think that maybe the rest of the press will be a little pissed off? The secrecy doesn't create an environment that will only make this worse as time goes on? So now, H-Dawg is going to avoid the national media, since they are obviously biased against him and his secretive Cabinet.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, Harper is trying to install some order to news scrums by choosing who gets to ask questions. The parliamentary press gallery is concerned Harper is trying to freeze out journalists and news organizations he dislikes.
