Budget Cuts? How about Trimming That Bush?

Well obviously I am not an American but Bush's new budget of $2.57 Trillion is calling for some mighty budget cuts to make ends meet... Now this is from an MSNBC news story...

Now color me stupid, but he wants to spend another $80 Billion to continue his war of aggression on oil rich Middle Eastern countries for another two years, but must cut valuable social programs (albeit some are bound to be useless and corrupt as always) such as reducing subsidies paid to the nation’s farmers, cutting health care payments for poor people and veterans, and trimming spending on the environment and education. Veterans? You mean the guys going over there right now? Wow.

I dunno. If I *was* an American, I would be pretty pissed off.

I just found this chart showing the budget allocation... Man, look at that huge tan area called "Defence" er, or Aggression maybe.

Notice that the HUGE area for "defense" doesn't even include Homeland Security or Interior, or Justice etc... I am sure Counterterrorism isn't in there either...
