Are two arms actually better than one?
Harold Connolly won the hammer throw gold medal at the Olympics despite having a left arm that was merely a useless stump!!!
As for having more than the average number of limbs, reason this:
Say 1 person out of every 1000 (very round figure) has had either a limb amputated due to a horrific farming accident or a dehabilitating birth defect... so 0.5% of the population has LESS than two arms or legs.
Therefore, if you actually have a full set of two arms or legs, then you really have MORE than the average number of limbs...
So now, you can wake up every morning and be thankful that you are above average in so many ways!!!! Two fully functional arms, two legs, two eyes, two ears, two testicles... Oh wait. Maybe two testicles...
