    Downtown Brown...

Well staying in a hotel in downtown Edmonton is interesting. Not too noisy I suppose, except for the fact that the Airport is across the street... That's a little annoying. It would be okay if they were huge 747s and stuff, but it seems to be a hub for small double prop planes... Real fun. I did go to the Games Workshop in Kingsway Mall and they actually knew who I was! Man, I feel like a total rock star. :D I was hoping to see some cool stuff in the displays, but apart from some snappy 6mm stuff, the rest were pretty mundane. Still, cool to know where these stores are :D Been to the West Ed store too, where my friend Dan works. Better stuff there in the cabinets :)

The course is going great. Very easy actually, though I am thrilled to get the basics hammered into my melon. I am hoping to take the Level II and event he Level III courses soon. Would be handy. I don't think I am as prejudiced towards the product as I was before. Seems that after some training and thought, finding parallels between Microstation and AutoCAD is pretty easy. Just a different tool to accomplish the same job really.
