Heroes Can Be Drug Addicts Too You Know...

And the Greeks are rolling over on their hard marble slab-like beds...

It isn't a really that big a deal to me, the Steroid abuse in sports. I mean, it allows for bigger hits, faster runners, more homers... I bet nearly every major sport is laced with the stuff. Football? Sure. Those guys are huge. Basketball? Why not... Hockey? For sure... Baseball? You betcha. Tell me McGuire's eyes bulge out because he saw an alien... Heh.

The thing that really gets me though, is that one guy can come out with a book or story, namely one-time Blue Jay slugger Jose Canseco, and suddenly, everyone else is up in arms about it. "I didn't do it"... "No way"... "He's a tool.." "I didn't know they were steroids..."

Well now, Barry Bonds is on the go. Canseco's recent book describes the "rampant culture of steroid abuse in baseball." Bonds is blasting him in the media about it. Defending McGuire and also himself... Back in 2003, Bonds had testified to a jury that he used some suspicious substances that his trainer gave him; a trainer later indicted in a steroid-distribution ring. Now he is a big record holder, so maybe he's afraid to tarnish his precious records...

Come off it. How can you not know. It is your business and your life, and apparently, you enjoy it with your head up your ass :D

Maybe they shouldn't use them in Pro sport. Maybe they should. Maybe people should just admit it, instead of waddling around like fools...
