Super Weekend!

Well my friend arrived safe Friday evening and after some visiting, we got right to some painting. It was a pretty early night, but then Saturday was the big busy day! We got to the store early, and set up. Right away, we had a lot of kids with questions (and grown-ups too even) so it was fun helpign everyone out, and getting some kids trying to paint.

The contest was really fun, and after about an hour or so, we got all the winners picked out and almost everyone won a prize. It was pretty neat to see the kids faces. On 10 year painted up an awesome treeman and won a first place for it.

We got back later after going for coffee and snacks with the folks who came from Calgary, and painted more that evening. Played some Magic even, though I got my butt kicked 3 straight games :(

It was super fun meeting a guy all the way from Minneapolis, especially after talking so much on the internet! Hopefully we'll be able to get together again at a convention or something :)
