And then the wall came down...

    Stardate 4192.8

Long weekend was a lot of fun. On friday, we packed up and went out to my buddy's acreage to barbeque, and play some music... Always good fun, stretching our "musical boundaries" and stamina... Saturday, we all went down to my Mother-in-Laws, and did a bunch of work and beer drinking. It was quite fun actually, and that was the day the concert was on.

I watched a lot of the Live 8 concert on the weekend. The message was obviously positive, even if some of the methods and people involved are of questionable intent. It was kind of nice, just to see many of the performers play. Motley Crue, Bryan Adams, PINK FLOYD....

Floyd reunited for the first time since 1981.

Seeing Floyd reunited was a treat. I had no idea they were doing this. I always liked Roger Waters just a little more than the others... so listening to newer stuff after their split has been a rare occurance for me. I really enjoyed seeing the classic Dark Side of the Moon stuff, and as always, Comfortably Numb was killer!
