Martin Sold His Soul on Same-Sex

CTV - Paul Martin, a proud Catholic, has sold his soul in bringing about the same-sex legislation. Apparently, the church is debating removing his rights to receive communion because of his choice in bringing in the same-sex legislation.

Martin said that gay marriage is not an issue of faith, but of fundamental human rights.

"I believe in the Charter of Rights, and I do not believe that the prime minister of the country can cherry pick those rights," Martin said in Vancouver.

Bravo. Paul Martin has the good sense to do what so many other world leaders cannot. Keep religion out of politics. After all, how many people cry havoc at the limiting of rights of women in the middle eastern countries? These are the same people who now, would deem a homosexual's soul lost... and want to punish Paul Martin for defending their rights to marriage. Not as a Catholic, but as a political leader.

The leader of a country that proudly supports everyone's rights.
