    It Was..... Fun.

    Stardate 4470.0

It's all over. The season is finished. No more diving catches. No more hits in the gap. No more sliding into second. No more bad hops. Another year of fun ball winds down, and though we didn't win the battle at the tournament today, it was still a ton of fun!

Okay, the dirt.... First game was a tight one. If we lost, we played again right after. After a good rally at the end, we still lost by 2 runs. Felt pretty bad about that, but since we played right away, there wasn't much time to spare. The next game was key.... a loss leaves us packing up and going home, but a win would mean a 3rd game nearly right after the second one.

Since this was it, I really wanted to win that second game. Get one last game before shuttting down for the season. But some good hitting, and maybe some bad throwing, and we ended up down by a lot. To add insult to injury, I had to slide into 2nd and luckily, I was safe, and th epinch runner I needed came around to score... Unluckily, I hurt the same knee again... Oh well. I was back in after an inning sitting off.

It was still a blast, and thanks to Hoosier Daddy for coming and watching a little :D
