Happy Thanksgiving

Modern Thanksgiving is a time for families to get together, and to think about all of the good times and great things that have come along in the past. It is a time of thankfulness for everything we have worked so hard to achieve. It is a time to be greatful for the house we live in, and the foods we get, and whatever else makes us happy and content.
Take a moment, this thanksgiving, and save some thoughts for the people of Pakistan and India, where the recent Earthquake has killed over 30,000 people and left many beyond count homeless. Think of the folks in New Orleans and the southern US coast. Think if the Iraqi people and the Sudanese. Think of all of the less fortunate people in the world, and remember how lucky many of us are.
Just for a moment though, in between bites of turkey and stuffing, think of these people.
At any rate, have a super Thanksgiving and I am sorry for being quiet but the long weekend brings about a time of long anticipated relaxation and that is what I am really thankful for.
